Coffee Lecture: Data cleansing and quality improvement with OpenRefine

Do you work with data organized in tables? Do you usually spend more time on data cleansing and data quality improvement than on data analysis? If you can answer YES to these questions, it's worth taking a look at the free open source tool OpeRefine. In this Coffee Lecture we will give you a short overview of the possibilities OpenRefine offers to improve the quality of your data.
This Coffee Lecture is not a comprehensive introduction to OpenRefine. If you would like to get a more detailed insight into the tool and learn how data preparation works through practical exercises, we cordially invite you to our online workshop "Efficient organization and preparation of tabular data" on October 26th 2023. The course will be conducted by TKFDM and FDM-HAWK Project online from 8:30 to 12:30 and is open to all researchers at Thuringian institutions.
