The Coffee Lecture shows how MEFs (metadata enhanced file systems) can be used as a user-friendly solution for the efficient management of large-scale research data. Using a practical example from a microscopy center, you will learn how MEFs combine archiving, direct access, sync'n'share and integrated metadata extraction, making everyday research data management easier.
