Winners of the Fairest Datasets Award 2025

After evaluating the submissions to the FAIRest Dataset Competition 2024, we are pleased to announce the winner of the prize money of 2,000 euros.
The Thuringian FAIRest Dataset Award goes to the dataset
Gäbler, T., Jain, N., Then, P., Eggeling, C., Gräfe, M. & Gili, V. F (2025) Benchmarking of Fluorescence Lifetime Measurement using Time-Frequency Correlated Photons
The dataset best implements the FAIR criteria (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). During evaluation, we were particularly struck by the detailed and comprehensive documentation of the data, which is very important for replicability and reusability of any dataset. Congratulations to the winners!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants once again and have prepared a small gift as a thank you for taking part in the competition.
The award ceremony took place online as part of the opening event of the Thuringian FDM Days on 18.06.2024.
