New podcast on research data management basics from Thuringia
As part of the BMBF project “Universities of Applied Sciences - Competence Cluster Research Data Management”, Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences has expanded the portfolio of its university's own “Blechhammer Podcast” to include “Research Data Management”. The aim of the project is to analyze and create conditions for the sustainable establishment of research data management at universities of applied sciences in Thuringia. You can find more information about the project here.
To make it easier for students and researchers from all disciplines to get to grips with the topic, the basics of research data management will be covered in a podcast as a first step. It is planned to gradually expand the content of the offer and to deepen core topics according to demand. This will be based on discussions and surveys at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences as well as cooperation with the Thuringia state initiative “Research Data Management” (Thuringian Competence Network for Research Data Management, TKFDM) and the transnational RDM community. In addition, the use of handouts and training material from the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) is a core element of the work. You can find information about the NFDI.
You can find the podcast on the Schmalkalten University of applied sciences research data management page (in German).
