Wie bekomme ich mein Poster schnell lesbar für alle? Hands-on zur barrierearmen Gestaltung
Mon Feb 10 2025 03:00 pm
In this hand-on event we want to share our efforts to make the outputs of research data management initiatives generally accessible.
RDM professionals regularly produce posters and presentations to convey information or to present the results of their efforts in RDM consulting, training and information,. The design of these outputs generally aims to be as appealing and reusable as possible. The aspect of whether the information contained is also generally accessible is rarely explicitly considered. Together with you, we, the Go-Unite AG-Inklusion im FDM, want to take the first steps towards accessible design of frequent FDM outputs by addressing the following questions:
- How can documents be checked for accessibility?
- How do I interpret the outputs of a corresponding check?
- What steps can I take to improve documents (e.g. posters and presentations)?
- What things can I take into account when creating documents to make them as accessible as possible?
We would like to share our first practical experiences with you and show you our approach. We are still learners ourselves, not experts in the field, and look forward to sharing our experiences.
