Winners of the Fairest Datasets Award 2024

After evaluating the submissions to the FAIRest Dataset Competition 2024, we are pleased to announce the winner of the prize money of 2,000 euros.

The Thuringian FAIRest Dataset Award goes to the dataset

Stolz, G., Götz, G., Treybig, L., Werner, S., & Klein, F. (2024) Spatial Room Impulse Response Dataset: A Robot's Journey Through Coupled Rooms of a Reverberant University Building

 

The dataset best implements the FAIR criteria (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). During the evaluation, we were particularly impressed by the file format (SOFA) used for the data. It is subject-specific, open, well documented and always has traceability in mind. Congratulations to the winners!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants once again and have prepared a small gift as a thank you for taking part in the competition.

The award ceremony took place online as part of the opening event of the Thuringian FDM Days on 18.06.2024.
