TKFDM participates in Forschungsdaten.info Live

This year, the TKFDM is participating in the Forschungsdaten.info Live series. On July 18th, 10:00 - 11:30 am you will have the opportunity to participate in the workshop on FAIRify your Data.

FAIR principles and FAIR data are on everyone's lips - but how do you actually find out if a data set is FAIR (i.e. Findable, Accessible, Interoprable and Reusable)? There are tools for this, so-called FAIR Assessment Tools. In this workshop, we introduce you to these tools and show you how to use them to evaluate a data set with regard to the FAIR principles. All participants will also have the opportunity to try it out for themselves. Feel free to bring URLs/DOIs of your own datasets - don't panic: if you don't have your own data, we have sample datasets ready for you.

Agenda:

  • Presentation and introduction to the FAIR principles
  • Presentation of various FAIR assessment tools
  • Demonstration of a Fair Assessment using a sample dataset with a selected Fair Assessment Tool
  • Participants will have the opportunity to try out 1-2 Fair Assessment Tools for themselves
  • Discussion and Wrap-Up
