The video and the slides for the Coffee Lecture about the rights of research data are online!
On April 28, 2021, the fourth Coffee Lecture of our series took place with the title "Rechte an Forschungsdaten". In the course of scientific work, questions about copyright, rights of use and exploitation of research data can arise. Do research data fall under copyright law? What distinguishes moral rights from rights of use? Who decides whether to publish data? Are there differences for students, doctoral students and professors? What are the legal regulations? The Coffee Lecture "Rechte an Forschungsdaten" addresses these questions and gives advice on how to avoid potential conflicts. The approximately 20-minute presentation is now online on YouTube. The slides of the presentation are available in German on Zenodo.
