It's October - Spooktober to be exact!
In the week from October 21st to 25th, TKFDM is starting Research Data Horror Week for the 5th time!
Once again, you have the opportunity to observe the impact of unfortunate research data management in practice and have fun guessing which circumstances led to the disastrous consequences.
In good old tradition, we present a new story about the dangers of careless data handling every day and invite you to guess what exactly caused the catastrophe.

The Research Data Scary Tales will soon be 5 years old!
Since March 30, 2020, the TKFDM has presented a colorful collection of incidents including the effects of a lack of knowledge management, a naive approach to artificial intelligence, the typical pitfalls of spreadsheet programs, the requirements of data protection and the consequences of ignoring them, and many other aspects of dealing with data.
The presentation of the game has also outgrown its infancy - instead of a simple website, we now have professional illustrations, card games in print, a German and an English version and lots of positive feedback on various social media campaigns.
That's why we're inviting you to actively participate again this year:

And if you already have a deck of cards: we'd love to see photos “from the wild”, of real uses in workshops or of where you've taken it.
